What is Product Management - Bootcamp 1

We are excited to host Product Gurukul's 1st seminar. This seminar is meant to evangelize the concept of "Product Management" and is focused towards students in their final yr of under- graduation, freshers & folks with 1-5 yrs of experience who might have heard the buzzword - Product Management. Instead of generic gyan, this event will be laced with relevant practical info and real-stories by product leaders.

The theme for the event is “Decoding Product Management”.

Agenda for the evening will be:
- Quick introduction of panelists
- What is Product Management & why has it become so important in recent times?
- Career trajectory of a Product Manager
- Different types (domains) of Product Managers
- How to get into Product Management? Does it make sense to even try?
- Do you need technology background?
- Open forum for questions

Event will be hosted over Google meet and will be led by Product Gurukul's mentor Chetan Lohia (Gojek), with inputs from other product leaders like Nikunj Jhunjhunwala - Flipkart, Rahul Aggrawal - Sharechat, Gaurav Mojasia - Lendingkart.

Panelists Profile:

1) Rahul Aggarwal: Rahul has worked across top Indian startups like Sharechat, Ola & Vizury as well as large product companies like Microsoft & Walmart. His product experience ranges across various domains like search, ads, eCommerce & ride-hailing systems.

2) Chetan Lohia: Chetan has more than 12+ years of work experience of which 8+ years is in Product Management. His experience is ranging across domains like Agri-Tech, Ad-Tech, SaaS, Data, Analytics & more.

3) Nikunj Jhunjhunwala: Nikunj is a seasoned product manager with more than 10+ years of product experience. His experience ranges across domains like: E-commerce Search, AdTech, DMP, Internet Marketing, Behavioural Targeting & more.

4) Rajiv Kumaar: Rajiv has extensive SaaS & AdTech product experienced. He has launched multiple products from scratch like Ads Self-Serve platform @ Dailyhunt. In his current role at Truecaller, Rajiv leads multi-disciplinary team of product managers, enggineers & ad-operations.

5) Gaurav Mojasia: Gaurav was one of the early product members of the now world famous "Aadhar project" as part of his Mindtree journey. He is currently Asso. Director @ Lendingkart. In his prev role as product @ Flipkart, Guarav was leading the automation charter for internal processes as Flipkart prepares for its IPO over next 18-24 months.
